Riders Roost Charities

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to pass on a little information that I came across today. The organization is Riders Roost Charities. They are selling Raffle tickets for a BA100 Custom Chopper.

The proceeds to the Charity. It's not a bad deal either. For $25.00 you get a chance to win a Custom Chopper. Or for $100.00 you get five chances. Best of all it's for Charity.

The website is a work in progress! So check back often. I will post more information as I have it!

Until then...

New Year 2010

Hey Guys and Gals!

It's getting close to riding time again. Although some never stopped, you know who you are! We had our Election and new officers for the next two years. We will all miss the guidance and hard work of "Momma", but luckily she is just a phone call away. And we know she will still be "Momma"! As a group that started out as 5 members we have grown each year. And we will continue grow more this year. We are planning our 2 Charity Rides for this year; as well as, a few fun rides. So check back regularly on the home page for more information.

Well our last blog ended in September 2009. Since then we had our Scrabble Run in October. Thanks to everyone who participated.

We visited Riders Roost for a camping trip. For those who have not been fortunate enough to experience the Roost, please take the time to check them out. It is a GREAT motorcycle camp ground. They have cabins for those who don't do tents.

We have done Birthday rides from SledgeHammer Charlie's in Blowing Rock, NC. (I love the Purgatory burger). If you are in the mood for some great burgers you must go to SledgeHammer Charlie's. But closer to home i just can't get enough of the Hawg Wings from Horsefeathers in Sherrills Ford. I love the BBQ Hawgs Wings.

We made a trip to the Coffee Cup House. This house is so cool. The guy actually has coffee cups of all kinds, hanging on the house and the fencing.

We joined in several Toy Runs for the Holidays. Including the Hull's Grove Toy Run. Hey so what it rained! It was for the kids that we did it anyway.

And as always we do "spur of the moment" rides. So be sure to join us on Facebook!!!

We have a lot planned for 2010, so keep in touch!
